Mostly animated with live-action segments featured throughout, FIDELITY is a comedic drama featuring Dora, a woman in her mid-30s who finds herself stuck in a loveless marriage and stumbling into an affair with another man, a filmmaker and professor of film whose identity is never revealed. Like Dora, this man is also not single, and his former student Stacy further complicates his life. Set during the casting call for a movie-within-a-movie, FIDELITY playfully contemplates the meanings of fiction, authorship, autobiography, and reality.
